In our first Hungry Hugh’s Recipe Center post we’ve kept it really quick and easy to make. You can have a dinner in a matter of minutes!
No matter how much we try to buy only what we need, or cook only what we’ll eat, portion control and sell by dates get us every time!
For this reason Barna Recycling is developing a series of Recipe ideas that can be created from the usual left over suspects in your fridge and surplus dinners. Check out our blog for inspirational ideas and get reusing today.

We were blown away by the amount of entries we received, and the amount of effort and creativity that went into all the costumes was outstanding!

As you may have noticed from our previous blog posts, Barna Recycling sponsored the fifth race ‘The Barna Recycling Rated Novice Hurdle’ at the Galway Races Bank Holiday Monday Meeting, on the 26th of October.
Our Spooky Recyclables Halloween competition is now closed!
We were blown away with the amount of entries, we have received a huge number of entries!!
The winners will be announced over the next few days.

WOW….We have been blown away with the number of entries we have received for the ‘Spooky Recyclables Halloween Competition’.
Well done to everyone who took part. There has been some really great ideas with a real focus on the theme of ‘Recycling’.

The pupils and teachers at Cornafulla NS, Athlone, Co Roscommon are working very hard at recycling and reducing waste.
Check out these Spooky Halloween DIY homemade costumes sent in from Cornafulla NS, Athlone, Co Roscommon.
This October the children in Infants and 1st class made spooky masks and the children in 2nd-6th class made Halloween decorations, made out of recyclable materials. The school also sent us an amazing video of the masks that the Junior Infants made and the Halloween decorations that Mrs Quigley’s 3rd Class made.
We are running a ‘Spooky Recyclables’ Halloween competition and the theme is Homemade DIY Costumes, made from recyclable materials.
